REGISTER TO VOTE

We saw you cheering in the stands for BiH and now it’s time to put those voices to work for a Bosnia and Herzegovina we so dearly love. With upcoming elections on the horizon, we have a critical opportunity to make our voices heard. To participate, we must act now.

What to prepare for registration:

  • Computer or phone.

  • Printer or ability to sign a document from your computer or phone.

  • JMBG also known as your Maticni broj. This is the number that is printed on your birth certificate.

  • Proof of address document that includes your full name. Examples: State ID, Driver’s License, Phone Bill, Insurance Bill, IRS letter.

  • Identifying document that includes your photo and your name. Example: BiH Passport or BiH ID.

  • If you do not have a BiH Passport or BiH ID, and you voted in previous elections you can still register.

    • If you do not have a BiH Passport or BiH ID, and you have not voted in previous elections you can still register with additional documentation. For help send an email to: registracija@snagdomovine.ba or info@izbori.ba.

Your vote matters!

How to register:

  1. Go to eregistracija.izbori.ba & click on REGISTRACIJA.

  2. Check your email for password & account information. They will send you a temporary password to login.

  3. Go back to eregistracija.izbori.ba & click on PRIJAVA then log in with your temporary password. Change your password.

  4. Select STATUS IZBJEGLOG LICA. This means you’re registering as a refugee.

  5. Select either POSTA or DKP. Posta is if you want receive your ballot by mail. DKP is if you want to directly vote in an embassy office in Washington, DC or in Chicago only.

  6. Enter your address. Enter your city then state in the same text box. To select the country USA, select SAD. Click NAPRIJED.

  7. Upload proof of identity. Examples of Identifying documents that include your photo and your name: BiH Passport or BiH ID.

  8. If you do not have a BiH Passport or BiH ID, and you voted in previous elections you can still register.

  9. If you do not have a BiH Passport or BiH ID, and you have not voted in previous elections you can still register with additional documentation. For help send an email to: registracija@snagdomovine.ba or info@izbori.ba.

  10. Upload your proof of address, some examples include: State ID, Driver’s License, Phone Bill, Insurance Bill, IRS letter.

  11. Print out the OBRAZAC, sign it & upload it back in the portal.

  12. Once you’ve submitted everything check your email for a confirmation. If CIK has questions about your documentation they will email you so make sure you save their email.

If you do not have a BiH Passport or BiH ID, and you have not voted in previous elections you can still register with additional documentation.
